Good question.

Well, like a job, it’s an occupation that you perform that you get paid for. However, I like to think that the difference between the two is that your job is “work” while your career offers you a chance to perform an occupation that you genuinely love to  perform. It doesn’t matter if it’s part-time or full-time, at a facility, or based out of your home. It’s something that you love to do. Sometimes, you are fortunate enough to make a lot of money and do what you love. Oftentimes, though, you probably don’t make the salary that you would love to. However, your career makes you want to get up in the morning, or afternoon, or night, or whenever your career time starts each day.

Even though you love your career, we all want to grow professionally, personally, spiritually, etc. So, what will we do while “our careers are in progress”?
